The who, what, and why of this Blog…

Welcome to my first blog post! Ahhhhh I am so excited and terrified to be writing this right now. I and even more excited knowing that once this is published someone besides me is going to read it! For my very first post I wanted to let you know more about me and what you can expect to see here!

Let me introduce myself…

I was born and raised in the sunflower state and have called it home all my life. Growing up, English was always my best subject in school- it was my favorite class and came really easily to me. I always enjoyed writing which is one of the reasons I wanted to dip my toe in the water of blogging!

I married my college sweetheart, DB, and together we have four kids; 3 boys and a princess. Our family is everything to us and we have so much fun making memories together.

What in the world is this blog is all about…

For my first post I want to give you an idea of what you will expect to see here! This space will be a little bit of everything – topics from toddlers to being a working mom and wife, tips and tricks that have helped make parenthood a bit more bearable. My goal for this is for all of my readers to find useful advice, a new favorite product or two, relatable and helpful content as a mama and just knowing your not alone, I’m just as much of a hot mess as you are. I like to write my content like I’m talking with my best friend- always keeping it real taking you on a wandering story as I make my point with a large dose of sarcasm.
